Yoga is for wimps.

Ya, Smokin Hot Wimps, Right?

There was a point in my life when I thought Yoga was just some sort of meditation/stretching exercise.
I laughed at the thought of doing those crazy poses.
Not that I had anything against it, or the people who practiced it,I just wasn't that interested. Honestly, I was intimidated. I mean come one, a mother of two should not be putting on tight clothes like that and bending in weird ways like that.

Okay, now is the time where I apologize for my ignorance.

I am sorry!

In my recent endeavor to be healthier, I decided to try it out to,at the very least, say that I did. To my surprise, I LOVE YOGA!
I love the way it makes my body feel.I love that I don't have to strain myself, I can do what works best for me, and work my way into the poses. I also feel much happier after I get done. Maybe it just has to do with the fact that I am actually getting quiet time in the middle of the day for the first time in almost 6 years, but either way I could definitely stand to be happier every day. I wish that I wasn't so stubborn for so many years, maybe things would have been different, but it's better late than never right?

I spent some time trying to answer the question " What is Yoga?"

I was surprised how much I learned. In the process I found an amazing site that has almost everything you might want to know about Yoga. If you are interested in learning, this is definitely the site for you.

Also, I have found a dvd set that has become my new favorite that I have to share.
I found it through the exercise tv section of our local
Health and Wellness On Demand on cable.

I promise, as I find more information I will post it, and post some photos of my results,
if not of my body at least of my smile!
